A 7 month old shar-pei puppy called Henry was dog-napped from the front of a Sydney café this week.

However – quick work by Police resulted in the very expensive pooch being found beside the front door of a house not far from the Newtown café – and Henry being returned to his distressed owner.

Police also charged a 42-year-old man from Camperdown with larceny and he’s been bailed to appear in court in January.

(Timely reminder – don’t leave your pet tied outside shops – it’s just not safe plus it's also illegal!)

In the US – scientists are predicting that one of their patients, A 3-year-old domestic short-haired cat named Vincent, will soon be leaping onto couches, counter-tops, and other high places he'd like to visit.

Why’s Vincent so special? He’s the feline equivalent of a super-hero thanks to his high tech titanium legs.

There are amazing advances in prosthetics for humans but until recently there were only about 2 dozen animals in the world benefitting from artificial limbs.

However thanks to 3D printing – orthopaedic veterinary specialists at Iowa State University were able to replace Vincent’s deformed back legs and replace them with short prosthetics…

Now Vincent strolls around the facility with ease, eying up all the high vantage points he’ll be able to reach once he gets his next set of legs which will enable him to jump.

Eric the parrot swears so much you'd think he was a drunken sailor on shore leave!

We often like to alert you to entertaining videos that have gone viral on the Internet but you should be warned that some of the most popular ones right now feature a bird called Eric which should come with an R18 warning.

You see – Eric swears. He swears a lot, in fact you could be forgiven for thinking Eric was trained by a drunken sailor on shore leave.

Even Eric’s owner, who made the videos, can’t control him.
AUDIO - "ERIC! Stop fighting with the dog," (SWEARING) "ERIC!... Leave him alone" (SWEARING)

We won’t tell you what Eric says next but he clearly spells out his opinion of the dog… and it’s not flattering.

If you’re feeling brave you can see and hear Eric on the YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOlcMtU6vwDztWha-2xs5lg
