Great news – confirmation at our follow-up visit with Animal Referral Hospital specialist ophthalmic surgeon Jeff Smith that the operation to remove cataracts from our poodle Monet’s eyes… was a complete success!

We weren’t too surprised because almost from the moment we’d left the hospital, Monet was like a new dog – or rather like he used to be - before he lost his sight! Confident, outgoing and once again exploring and navigating our entire back garden (aka jungle). 

He was back to being pack leader again – which made our wussy Bichon very happy to hand back that job to Monet!
