The 2016 AVA Conference saw delegates advised to focus on improving communications to identify problem behaviours earlier – in people as well as pets.
Improving personal resilience, reversing the pet obesity crisis with plain language, acting on animal abuse suspicions…just some of the highly emotive yet practical presentations being delivered this week (22-27 May) in Adelaide at the country’s biggest annual get-together of vets, nurses and others in the industry.
Of course the yearly talk-fest also has its fair share of fun events…culminating in a Gala Ball Thursday evening…as AVA President Dr Robert Johnson reveals.
